Helen Lee (she/her)

Are you feeling anxious or overwhelmed, wanting to better understand yourself, improve your relationships or navigate a significant life transition?

Perhaps you’re finding your relationships challenging or wanting to find more balance in life, to find a way of living that feels more authentic and joyful.

You may appear to be coping well on the outside, yet inside feel exhausted, overwhelmed, lonely or dissatisfied. Or perhaps you simply sense that life could feel richer, more connected and more meaningful than it does right now.

As a fully qualified UKCP and UKATA registered psychotherapist and counsellor, I provide a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly, make sense of your experiences, and discover new ways of responding to life’s challenges. I work with individuals and couples.

Together, we can explore the patterns, beliefs and emotional responses that may be keeping you stuck, helping you develop greater self-awareness, resilience and choice in how you live and relate to others.

I welcome trainee counsellors and psychotherapists seeking personal therapy as part of their professional training, personal development or ongoing reflective practice.

People often come to see me because they are:

  • Struggling in their relationships and wanting things to change
  • Feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted
  • Navigating a significant life transition or difficult decision
  • Carrying the impact of painful past experiences into their present lives
  • Seeking greater self-understanding, meaning and personal growth

Many of the difficulties we experience in life are connected to relationships, our relationship with ourselves, our partners, our families, our friends and the wider world around us.

Therapy can help you understand these patterns, communicate more effectively, establish healthier boundaries, and build more satisfying and authentic relationships.

Couples Counselling

You may find yourselves caught in recurring arguments, emotional distance, difficulties with intimacy, or uncertainty about the future of your relationship. Couples counselling provides a supportive space to understand what is happening between you, improve communication, strengthen emotional connection and explore constructive ways forward.

I often suggest activities or conversations for couples to try between sessions, helping you build on the work we do together and develop new ways of relating to one another.
