What do I offer?
I offer face-to-face or online counselling for people aged 18+ from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds.
We can discuss the issues impacting how you want to live your life and whether you wish for shorter-term counselling (usually 8 – 24 weeks) or open-ended longer-term counselling.
Short-term counselling: focuses on identifying issues you feel are causing you difficulty in your life. By gaining a greater understanding of them, you may decide what changes or solutions you want to make or find more effective ways of coping with them.
Open-ended long-term counselling: Gaining greater insight into the issues you are facing can lead to an understanding and perhaps acceptance of your emotional difficulties, internal conflicts and past experiences, which can promote a happier, more fulfilled life.
Training and Qualifications
I am a qualified NCS-accredited counsellor. I am also currently in advanced psychotherapy training.
Areas of experience
I have experience working with a wide variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationships, self-esteem, menopause, emotional issues, parenthood, trauma, stress, work-related stress, and major life changes.
Our first session is a chance for us to meet and for you to see if you feel comfortable with me. Occasionally, I may feel I do not have the specialism to help with a specific difficulty, and I can signpost you to colleagues or other means of support. Therefore, making that first contact can be a positive step forward.
I offer counselling and psychotherapy on the following basis:
- Individual: £55 per individual session, £60 after 6 p.m.
All session fees are due within 24 hours of your counselling session.
Cancellation policy – No fee is charged if 24 hours notice is given. The full fee is charged with less than 24 hours notice.
